He is capable of changing your Destiny. ~ Neem Karoli Baba

Is there something missing in your life?

Is there something you want to change in your Life?

Or is there something you want to achieve in life?

You are standing in the center of a life where you want something different, something better or something more from it.

Sometimes it might be a bad story that you don’t want to read and sometimes you might be fascinated by a different story that you want to play and dance in.

When you are not in love with your life or even a chapter of your life, you either wish for a completely different painting or you want the painting to have different hues.

There are times when what we have is not what we want to have forever and there are times when we don’t have what we deeply wish to have.

Often, we feel we don’t belong to the place we are in and there is a deep desire to be somewhere else. It’s like you want a starry night but you have a light sky of the day.

Or you want the sunlight to shine over you, but you have the twinkling stars of the night.

  • There is a deep desire to be somewhere else.
  • A big wish to be free from here where you are now.
  • Or a deep prayer to have a different story.

But you think you are imprisoned to live what is destined.

You constantly look at the door that can set you free, but you don’t believe you can ever have the key.

Maybe you want to run and win, maybe you want to sit in peace, maybe you want to create a little home of joy, maybe you want to swim to the beautiful destination, maybe you want to sing, maybe you want to fly, maybe you want to rise.

You wish to walk on that beautiful road on the other side of this captivity but all you see is impossibilities.

Most of us feel trapped in the lives that we aren’t in love with but because we think this is our destiny, we continue living it even if it suffocates us.

For the one who feels is a victim of Life and for the one who thinks this life is a script that is unchangeable, I want to show you the roadmap to change your destiny.

But before I tell you how He is capable of changing your destiny, I want you to interrogate yourself to understand where exactly you are standing in your life.

Figure out your desperation.

Your wishes and desires are not enough.

When you don’t like the chapter, you are in, when you see a happier picture around, you start telling yourself a different story.

The story that does not exist, that you do not afford and that is far-fetched.

You start living in this story hoping someday to have a chance to read it.

At this point when the story has just popped in your head, you have to question yourself whether you will be fine with being here where you are today or you cannot afford to miss reading this new story.

Figure out your desperation.

Wanting something badly and going badly for having something are two separate things.

The idea is to understand how strongly you want something before you think of any possibility or impossibility of having it.

Because destiny only changes for the one whose entire focus is on the goal, the dream, the desire and is not tamed by the impossibilities.

It isn’t about what you want different in life, it’s about how far you can go to make it different.

Are you willing to give the price?

“Destiny is usually just around the corner. Like a thief, a hooker, or a lottery vendor: its three most common personifications. But what destiny does not do is home visits. You have to go for it.” – Carlos Ruiz Zafón

The bigger your Karmic Baggage, the harder will be the road to your wishful destiny.

The point where you are standing at this point of time and the place that you want to reach, the life that exists between the two is the game of Karma. You have to bear the results of past Karma and create new Karma to bear the future results.

Before you want something, ask yourself how much willing you are to give the price.

Until and unless you pay the price to nullify the results of your karmic baggage, you cannot bear the fruits of the new Karma.

Now that you know the different life you desire demands something from you and have clarity about how far you are ready to go for it, you can make the choice, either to take the big plunge or sit back.

The bottom line is before you chase or wish for a different life, rigorously inspect and question yourself whether you are ready to commit to being there where you thought was never possible.

He is capable of changing your Destiny~ Neem Karoli Baba

There is nothing impossible for God to create except to give you something without you qualifying for it.

He does not reject or dismiss your proposals, your wishes and your dreams.

What He does is give you something to test whether you are ready to receive what you want.

He can do the magic, and He can show you miracles but before He shows you what He can do, He tests what all you can do to deserve it.

Most of us are ignorant and unaware of how we can change the chapters of our story.

We think what it is, it is, and we are destined to live it.

Even if we want to live that different story, we assume our chapters are impossible to change.

But God says, “The Doors are locked, they aren’t blocked for you.”

So, if you think that life is destined and you are born to live it like this, I want you to know how He can change your life, change your destiny.

5 big realities that you should understand before you think of changing your destiny.

Your Karma decides your destiny.

Your life is half-cooked for you.

There are things that you did not struggle for. These things can be: Being born into a good family. Having the privilege of education, having a sound body, a great job, a great partner and so much more served on your table without any labor.

You were gifted with some of the most essential things that you could not think of living without them.

This is the joy you received.

But there are other things that you suffer from even when you did no wrong. These can be: Going through an illness, having a bad career, a struggling relationship, or a catastrophic situation.

This is the misery you received.

All these things planted in your life already, are your destiny. The life that is served on your table.

And it’s your Karma that designed this life.

What you receive here in this life as a gift or as a curse is the result of the actions that your soul has been carrying out ever since its creation.

Bhagavad Gita says,

These Karmas are being carried out from a time when our souls were created and we all according to these Karmas are receiving Dukh (misery) or Sukh (Joy).

And this is what is called as our Destiny.

But Karma is not permanent.

The effects of Karma can be very old but with the new Karma, you can create new effects and new results.

The life that is in front of you is a new book and you are the author of this Book.

You are bound to receive the good and bad fruits of your past Karmas, but you are equally free to grow new fruits with your present Karams.

We have suffered or enjoyed the results of our Karmas (the good and bad accordingly) from the earliest times but along with this, we can also change the results of these Karmas.

He is capable of changing your destiny only when you are willing to changes the course of your actions.

And this transformation of Karma depends entirely on the completeness of our wisdom and knowledge.

Your life is predestined but it isn’t predetermined.

“I have noticed even people who claim everything is predestined, and that we can do nothing to change it, look before they cross the road.” – Stephen Hawking

What happens in your life is predestined but how you respond to everything happening in your life isn’t predetermined.

Every situation that you face in life is the result of your past karma. Every desire, every thought, every word, every feeling and every action you have is your new karma (your future destiny).

Destiny is constantly rewritten each moment through our ongoing Karma. So, we write and rewrite our destiny and live it out too.

Life is a combination of both destiny and free will.

You have the drama in place where you got to play your role but how well you play it is a chance for you. You are free for both: to botch with it and show excellence in it.

When a road is closed off in your route, you don’t turn the car around and drive home. You find another road and make it to your destination.

Same with life. Whatever destiny brings, you must remember you have the power to change your mindset. You have the power to choose what you do now, and what you do next. Don’t let destiny dampen you when it isn’t positive. Show up and keep living your best life.

“It’s choice – not chance – that determines your destiny.” – Jean Nidetch

Your future will have events that are predestined like the road closed or maybe a broken road, but you have all the freedom to decide how and where to go.

Stop there and return or look for a possibility of another road.

This is how you begin to break the wheel of past Karmas.

As the Bhagavad Gita says, Your Karma is not permanent.

And this life is a free big chance to change the trajectory of your destiny through new Karmas.

You will not get what you want, you will get what you deserve.

I the LORD search the heart and examine the mind, to reward each person according to their conduct, according to what their deeds deserve.”

The life that is in front of you is your test. You will have events, situations, and circumstances to go through and in every situation, your actions will be monitored, registered and assessed.

Before you think of having a different chapter, living a different story, you will be assessed for every action you make here when things are not favorable, not the way you want.

This life that you want to jump out of is exactly the place that is going to carve your way to the next story.

It is not just the desire that will pave your way towards the destiny that you wish to live, it is about how honestly you are living the life that you are currently not in alignment with.

Your wishful destiny does not lie outside this place where you are challenged or pulled down. It is here in the inconveniences and discomforts that your destiny is designed according to the role you play here.

As you are always on the radar of God’s eye.

If you are the author of your book, God is your publisher.

He does not respond to what or where you want to be as much, He observes how you are responding to this life where you don’t want to be.

He has the power to create a new path for you, but before He creates it, He takes notice of whether you are good enough to walk on it.

“The willing, Destiny guides them. The unwilling, Destiny drags them.” – Seneca

Dissatisfaction and despair are the biggest motivators to change your Destiny.

You have to break the wheel of Karma to enter into a new state of destiny.

And a bad chapter is a chance.

When you feel dissatisfaction or despair, you don’t want to be a part of such a life.

And this is an opportunity to go the extra mile to break the karmic baggage you are trapped in.

Ironically, discomfort or despair usually serve as the greatest motivators to change, eg many of the greatest works of art or pieces of music have been created by the most troubled souls.

They channelized their pain.

You might have a desire to change your life but is it backed with something that pushes you in taking action?

The fear of failure, the fear of risk, the fear of problems, and the fear to beat the roadblocks require something big that can every time fight this fear.

And it is an honest dissatisfaction with the current life that will push you to create something new.

God will not work for you, God will work with you.

Bhagavad Gita says:

God accepts every creature as a part of Him just like:

  • The smallest particle of Gold is also Gold.
  • Every drop of the ocean is as salty as the ocean.

In the same way, as we are a part of the Niyanta (The Controller), we too are packed with the qualities of God but in Sukshma Matra (small amounts).

We are a small form of God.

He has given you the ability to create what you want but because the process comes with its hurdles and obstacles, it becomes challenging to reach the wishful destination.

In such times when your path feels blocked and you feel incompetent, God empowers you.

He does not walk for you, but He helps in making it easier for you to walk on it.

“Destiny is simply the strength of your desires. If you cry in trouble, it grows double. If you laugh at a trouble, it disappears like a bubble.” – Unknown

Destiny is a very strange thing. Some believe that the world is a theatre. We are nothing but puppets in the big, preordained play. While others feel that they can create their own lives.

Well, we have to agree that there are certain life situations that we can’t control. These events happen whether we like it or not. But destiny is how you respond to these situations and carve a new future.
