Evolve and Elevate: Disagreements, Meaning of God and One thing I needed to change in my Life.
Idea of the Week
“You’re probably right’” has become one of my favorite phrases.
Whenever someone disagrees with you on a small matter (read: most things), you can shrug, say:
‘You’re probably right ‘.
And move on.
Not caring about winning trivial arguments saves so much time and energy.”

Lesson of the Week
Bhagavad Gita says:
The meaning of God is Niyanta (The Controller), and the meaning of Jeev (creatures) is Niyantrit (Controlled).
If any creature says: I Am not controlled but free, the creature is mad.
The theme of Bhagavad Gita is related to: God (Niyanta) and Creatures (Niyantrit).
It also explains about Nature (The material world), Kaal (Time) and Karma.
This Physical world is imbued with different karya-klaap (activities). All the creatures are involved in different types of Karya-klaap (activities).
From Bhagavad Gita we should learn:
Who is God? What is Creature? What is Nature? What is Jagat (Physical world)?
And how Kaal (time) controls Creatures, Nature, Physical World and what are the Karya-Klap (activities) of all the creatures.
As per Bhagavad Gita, God is the topmost authority, the Niyanta (The Controller).
And Jeev (creature) is equivalent to Niyanta (Controller) in its Gunas (attributes).
God controls all the activities happening in this physical world. The physical world is not free, it works as per the directions of God.
When staggering incidents happen in the world, we should understand that there is a Niyanta behind them. Without the controller, it isn’t possible for anything to appear.
It is foolishness to not believe in the existence of Niyanta (the controller).
God accepts every creature as a part of Him just like:
- The smallest particle of Gold is also Gold.
- Every drop of ocean is as salty as the ocean.
In the same way, as we (Creatures) are a part of the Niyanta (The Controller), we too are packed with the qualities of God but in suksham matra (small amounts).
We are a small form of God.
And now as we have God like qualities, we are trying to control Nature just like in the current times, researchers want to explore planets, celestial bodies and the Universe. This is because, as we are a part of the Niyanta (The controller) who has this nature of controlling the Physical world, so we too have it in us.
But we should understand that we are not Param-Niyanta (The supreme controller)
Inspiration of the Week:
One thing I needed to change in my Life.
I wanted a lot from life.
When I grew, big enough to understand or rather misunderstand what Happiness was all about, I started chasing my wishes anticipating happiness to come along.
My idea of happiness became:
When this will happen, I’ll be happy.
When that will happen, I’ll be happy.
I did not want to settle for where I was and how I was.
My inner realm was glued to something I wanted to have but had no idea how to go about it or rather expecting it to happen with the Grace of God.
For every small struggle, I anticipated a big reward which never turned up in real.
I imagined a picture and I lived in that picture long enough until my real-life picture turned ugly.
That’s when I went through a whole shift.
My ideology of life felt like it was rejected, and I was given a reality check.
Nothing comes by just wishing!
It instead makes the reality even worse.
And I had volunteered tremendously in making my reality look like unhappy and unwanted.
But when things touched my threshold, I stopped circling in this vicious pattern before it could obliterate me.
And I found the only thing I needed to change in my life was Myself.
Life is not a magical jar that could give you anything for free.
It is an ocean that you have to swim through to find the pearl.
Only when my imaginary jar broke, I found myself struggling to swim.
But being in alignment with God’s tests and Lessons, I tried to swim and save myself from drowning.
And now I stand on the other side of the ocean where I look at life from a different lens.
Where I know, Life is not about chasing something.
It’s about living the present, learning from the past and working for the future.
